How To Be Saved

How To Be Saved

The God of the Bible is the One True God, the Creator.
He is a God of life, not death. He created you, therefore He loves you.
He never intended for you to die so He sent His son, Jesus Christ,
to die on the cross for you! Jesus shed His blood, died, was buried,
and rose from the grave so that you and I could be assured eternal life.
Jesus broke the curse of sin and death and brought salvation to man-kind.
We can have a personal relationship with the loving God who created life.
This is what the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ is all about!

1) Call on the name of the Lord
Romans 10:13 says, “Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

“Whosoever” means you. Yes, YOU!

2) Confess that Jesus is Lord
Romans 10:9 says, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

3) That’s it. It’s that easy!
If you believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead, then you are assured eternal salvation.

Now say this prayer with me, out loud:
“Dear God, I want to be a part of your family. You said in Your Word
that if I acknowledge that You raised Jesus from the dead, and that I
accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I would be saved. So God, I now say
that I believe You raised Jesus from the dead and that He is alive and
well. I accept Him now as my personal Lord and Savior. I accept my
salvation from sin right now. I am now saved. Jesus is my Lord. Jesus
is my Savior. Thank you, Father God, for forgiving me, saving me, and
giving me eternal life with You. Amen!”

If you just prayed this prayer for the first time, we welcome you into the family of God!
Devote time to God by trying to read His Word everyday, develop a personal time of prayer, and find a church to be a part of. In addition, we would love to hear from you and are here to encourage you in your walk with God.

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”         -Romans 8:38-39
