What We Believe

What We Believe

The Following Sixteen Statements of Faith are based
on Fundamental Truths as found in the Bible

1) One God
We believe that the God of the Bible is the One True God, the Creator of all things, existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2) The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, God breathed Word of Truth and as such is infallible and incorruptible.

3) The Fall of Man
We believe that man was created by God and in His perfect image and by disobedience, willfully sinned thereby experiencing spiritual death and eternal separation from God.

4) The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be, the only begotten Son of God, and is the Messiah who came to redeem and reconcile mankind back to the Father.

5) God’s Plan of Salvation
We believe that man’s only hope for reconciliation is by the atoning work of Jesus Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. Being justified by grace through faith in Jesus Christ assures all believers of eternal life.

6) Sanctification
We believe in the process of sanctification by which all believers strive to separate themselves from an inherent sinful nature to a life that is pleasing and holy unto God.

7) Ordinances of the Church
(a) We believe in the baptism by water in which a believer declares to the world that he/she has died with Christ and raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

(b) We believe in the partaking of communion as a memorial to the sufferings of Christ and a proclamation of His death until he returns.

8) Sealed by the Holy Spirit
We believe that all believers are drawn into a relationship with Jesus Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit and are sealed by the Spirit “until the day of redemption”.

9) Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues in which believers are filled and empowered by the Spirit to live out a life of service and ministry.

10) The Purpose of the Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ, His hands and feet extended. As such, every believer is a part of this body and has an integral role to play in using his/her gifts for the calling of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

11) The Ministry of the Church
We believe in the called and ordained institution of the church as the vehicle for worldly ministry and leadership in evangelism, worship and service in love.

12) Healing
We believe in divine, supernatural healing by the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. “But he was wounded for our transg- ressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” -Isaiah 53:5

13) The Rapture
We believe in the imminent appearing of Jesus Christ to call out and receive his bride, the church. During this time, all believers will be rewarded for their works at the Judgment Seat of Christ before returning with Him to earth when He establishes His Millennial Kingdom.

14) The Millennial Reign
We believe in the future, literal, and earthly 1,000 year reign of Jesus Christ from Jerusalem. As spiritual heirs of the Abrahamic Covenant, believers will rule and reign with Christ in the Millennial Kingdom.

15) Final Judgment
We believe in the final Great White Throne Judgment when the unrighteous and wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. All who are not found written in the Book of Life will be sentenced to an eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire, this is the second death.

16) The Restored Garden of Eden
We believe the final dwelling place for all believers will be the eternal state in which the heavens and earth will be renewed by fire. We consider this to be a restored Garden of Eden, God will dwell among us forever, and Satan will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire prepared for him and his angels.
